Neverending
So, I don't know if I have actually said this before, but it is becoming more and more apparent to me with each passing day that the feeling of being in-between never ends. First you are in between infant and adult, then you are in between college and work, living with your parents and moving out, dating and engagement, engagement and marriage, marriage and kids, on and on. The only finite things in this world is that you came into it and you leave it. So I guess that you can call that in betweenness the dash. I have heard several people lecture or give sermons about the dash. That little non-descript symbol that falls between the birthday and death day on headstones. So, instead of waiting out the in-between, as I previously was, I am going to choose to live through it. My newest life adventure is getting married! Even though I am extremely not happy about working nights through the planning period, I know that it is only temporary. I love my new family, I love my fiancee, I love my somewhat new apartment, I love my life! I can't wait to see what God has in store for us, what opportunities come our way and where our lives go.

Paula's Pot 'o Potatoes!
Today, I am trying a potato soup recipe provided by the FABULOUS Paula L! It has been in the crock pot since quarter to nine today and it smell amazing! Super easy too! Are you ready? Frozen O'Brien hashbrowns (without peppers), cover with chicken broth in a crock pot. Turn it on and leave it for several hours. The potatoes will melt and become super creamy, add a splash of milk and top as you please! That's it! It's delicious! You should try it!
The newest of the newest news!
Well, lots have happened since the last post. To my faithful reader, sorry to not have updated in these past several months, but life has been busy. Until yesterday, I was busily working days in the CVICU, but now I am on nights for a little while. We will see how this goes, I don't like being on a different schedule from my family. They are asleep when I am awake and vice versa. I knew lots of people would be calling today, and they did, but I was sleeping and I don't remember what many of them said. So, I will have to go call them back. But enough about that! Sound the trumpets!!!!!!! The biggest of the biggest news is that in nine short months I will be Mrs. Tyler Rainey! We are narrowing down the date and it looks like September 24 will be it. Stay tuned! New details are emerging every day!
